Rachel won’t stop there, she’s working on providing her customers with even more offerings.

We asked Rachel the questions you want to know and here is what she said:

What makes your business different from your competition?

While I could write a whole essay on this the long and short of it is that Rach Royalty is an amazing experience. From our excellent customer service, to our excellent products & our amazing Royalty Fam / Community, Rach Royalty offers something that many brands don’t – a holistic (AMAZING✨) overall experience. We don’t offer random products or products that are trendy, all our offerings are of high quality and they workkk. Our business is centered around Jesus Christ & we are unapologetic about that. Furthermore, we work everyday with our slogan in mind, “Glow Like Royalty” and boyy do our customers epitomize that 😍

How do you stay a Goody on a Budget?

One (compound) word, “SELF-AWARENESS”. Many people fall in the trap of overspending which may be due to a false reality and / or lack of self control. Oftentimes it’s both!! Personally, I try to listen when the Bible says exercise self control. Why? Because it’s imperative in every sphere of life! I practice discipline by not spending more than I have. Being self aware means that I am honest with myself about how much money I have, my expenses etc & I make it work while actively creating the future God has purposed me to build in his strength.

What have you learnt from starting your business?

I’ve learnt a generous amount of lessons. What stands out most prominently is the power of consistency and trust in Jesus Christ. Honestly, it seems so surreal to me how much my business has grown in a year! I remember making my first batch of body butters and now my business has grown to offer so many more products and we’re just getting started. Consistency is literally the key. Consistency is sticking with your dream / vision through the failed test batches, the slow periods, managing the high traffic periods, marketing etc over time. I’ve learnt to show up mentally and physically for the sake of growing my brand ❤️

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone wanting to start a business?

Habakkuk 2:2: “Write the vision and make it plain.” My best advice to you is to figure out your why and write it down. You must know why you want to do that particular business because when the highs and lows reach you, your “why” (which should be rooted in God’s will for your life and your purpose) will be a rock for you. The world of business isn’t always glamorous and you won’t have 24/7/365 “Boss Babe” moments where you’re “killing it” and “securing the bag”. Hence, your “why” keeps you grounded and focused. Having vision for your brand + discipline means you’ll be well on your way to the success you desire.

What tool have you found to be most beneficial? Eg excel, a particular app, for both your personal life and your business.

1) My bible. It keeps me grounded, gives me SOLID personal and business advice + keeps me in check.

2) Preview – where I plan my social media content to ensure it’s A1

3) Wave accounting – your financials depict your profitability. It shouldn’t be a guessing game & this keeps me on point.

Where is your favourite place to go?

To get some food sis. Jokes (maybe?) I love going to my safe space where I see my vision clear as day. It motivates me & I love it ☺️

What piece of financial advice do you swear by?

1) God first. Ensure you tithe (10%) & give generously and because you want to

2) Multiple streams of income is a necessity in this economic climate okay. Your business shouldn’t be your only source of $ .

3) Don’t save just to save. Save to invest! Your money must be just as purposed as you are.

4) Develop an emergency fund

Would you like to purchase some luxury items? Great.
